Radio station FM 94/9 will be hanging out at On the Border Mexican Grill and Cantina in Mission Valley for 28 ½ hours straight, from 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 12 to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 13, collecting nonperishable food items and monetary donations for the San Diego Food Bank to help feed individuals and families in need.
Most Needed Food Items:
- canned meats (tuna, ham, chicken)
- canned soup
- canned or dried fruits
- canned vegetables
- dried beans, rice & cereal
- peanut butter
- powdered milk
- packaged nuts and seeds
- dried pasta
Morning show hosts Cantore + Woods will be there broadcasting LIVE! They’ll be inviting listeners to stop by and drop off their donations. As a bonus for donors, they’re giving away tickets to the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Military Appreciation Race, Sea World tickets, concert tickets and much more!
