If you or anyone you know needs food assistance, help is available!

The Food Bank distributes food to our clients at more than 155 sites throughout San Diego County every month, and we provide food to a network of 330 nonprofits with feeding programs.

The Food Bank operates a number of monthly food programs. Some of our programs have income restrictions and others are open to everyone. For more information about our programs click here

Call 2-1-1

To get immediate assistance and to find out about our food programs please dial 2-1-1 on your phone to reach San Diego County’s social services hotline. The call is free, and a 2-1-1 operator will help you find a food distribution or hot meal provider in your neighborhood. The 2-1-1 call center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in more than 150 languages.

CalFresh (Food Stamps)

You may be eligible for CalFresh (Food Stamps*) if you are:
- a U.S. citizen
- a permanent resident or have a specific type of visa
- a U.S.-born child, regardless of where your parents were born
- not currently receiving SSI/SSP benefits
