The Food Bank is committed to providing the most nutritious food possible to children in need. Our Food 4 Kids Backpack Program provides food to chronically hungry elementary school students from low-income households every weekend when free school meals are unavailable.
Our Moms & Children Food Program provides food packages to mothers with children age 6 and under, and our Emergency Food Assistance Program provides USDA-provided food with fresh produce from the Food Bank to families in need.
Our goal is to ensure that children in need in San Diego County receive the healthy, nutritious food they need to grow and thrive.
