When school’s out for summer vacation, children living in poverty stop receiving free meals Monday through Friday at school and face hunger at home.
Often their parents work in low-wage jobs or they are unemployed, and these families are forced to turn to the Food Bank to feed their children.
This summer, you can help the Food Bank feed thousands of children living in poverty.
Visit your local Albertsons or Vons supermarket, purchase a $5 pre-filled bag of groceries, and drop off your donation in our famous red food drive barrels at the front of the store.
Please help the Food Bank bring hope and summer smiles to local children in need!
