The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank is in the process of expanding and improving our warehouse thanks in part to a series of grants approved by the City of San Diego.

New additions will include:
- newly paved roads surrounding the warehouse
- expansion of the Food Bank cooler by 36,000 cubic feet
- a recycling and compost center

All projects are expected to be completed by July 31st.

Nonprofit Agencies

The Food Center loading ramp has been reopened. Agencies can now enter the Food Bank from Distribution Avenue. Parking is available directly across from the loading ramp. Once you have shopped and signed out, you may then move your vehicle to the loading ramp.

Volunteers and Visitors

The East End Parking Lot has been reopened. Volunteers and Food Bank visitors are encouraged to park their cars there, in front of the Food Bank, in the West End Parking Lot or on any of the nearby streets including Distribution Avenue and Terman Court.

Please periodically check this page for updates on Food Bank construction and parking information. We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.
