Standing Together in Support of Our Neighbors: How You Can Help Those Affected by the LA Fires
The devastating fires throughout Los Angeles County have left many of our northern neighbors in need. At the San Diego Food Bank, our hearts go out to the individuals, families, and communities facing unimaginable loss and hardship.
Partnering with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is on the front lines, working tirelessly to provide food and essential resources to those affected. We are in active communication with their team and are currently working with them to send a truck full of food and requested items at the end of next week to help replenish their supply. This is a rapidly evolving crisis, and we are committing resources from our Disaster Relief Fund to aid LA's efforts.
If you feel moved to contribute, there are several ways you can make a difference:
Donate food and supplies: We are accepting donations from the list below, provided to us by the LA Regional Food Bank. These items will be placed on our truck at the end of the week and will go directly toward helping families and individuals recover during this time of crisis. If you would like to make a donation, we are accepting items from this list beginning tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 11 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at both our warehouse locations and then again Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Donations may be dropped off at our warehouse locations between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and Monday - Thursday.
