Alex’s TransAmerica Ride for the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank

Support Alex Maitre, newly retired U.S. Navy Commander, as he bicycles across the country from the East Coast to the Pacific Northwest with the goal of raising vital funds and awareness for the San Diego Food Bank. Alex’s goal is to raise $5,000 for the Food Bank, which would provide 25,000 meals to San Diegans in need.

Maitre will be setting off on his 4,230 mile bicycle ride on the TransAmerica Trail starting Saturday, June 16  in Yorktown, Virginia and ending his cross-country journey in Astoria, Oregon.
