San Diego State University is hosting its annual Aztecs Rock Hunger food drive campaign from Oct. 13 to Nov. 5.
During this three-week campaign, students, faculty and staff at SDSU come together to raise food and funds to support the Food Bank and our critical hunger-relief programs, including SDSU’s very own on-campus food pantry. SDSU’s on-campus food pantry is a nonprofit partner of the Food Bank’s in connection with our College Hunger-Relief Program.
Since the campaign’s inception in 2009, this food drive campaign has raised more than 4 million pounds of food for local families and students facing food insecurity.
If you are interested in supporting this food drive, consider making a secure donation online through their Virtual Food Drive. For every $1 donated, 2 meals can be provided to a neighbor in need.
