Food Bank supporters and culinary creators are invited to join steadfast Food Bank supporter, Chef Jodi Abel, chef, author and owner of Lajollacooks4u (a unique cooking event company) who specializes in California cuisine and farm-to-table freshness.

She will be joined by Dr. Sabrina Falquier Montgrain, who is a multi-lingual and multicultural board-certified internal medicine physician with expertise in Culinary Medicine.

Together, these talented ladies will provide a wonderful cooking experience in the convenience of your own home. They will be using seasonal and local ingredients demonstrating and awakening your senses through nutritional and delicious recipes.

Virtual participants are encouraged to cook along with Chef Jodi and Dr. Sabrina. Farm basket options will be provided through Yasukochi Farms upon registration.

Funds raised during Cooking for a Cause will support the San Diego Food Bank’s COVID-19 Response Fund. In addition to food assistance and resources, they provide nutritious food to individuals and families in need every month. There is a tremendous need to feed families, and seniors affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
