Thank You San Diego for Your Outpouring of Generosity!

More Than 94,500 Pounds Collected to Help LA Wildfire Victims

All of us here at the San Diego Food Bank are overwhelmed at the outpouring of support we’ve seen and received to help those in Los Angeles affected by the devastating wildfires. It’s been heartwarming to see our community rally in such strong support of LA in the aftermath of these devastating events.

Thanks to you, more than 94,500 pounds of food and supplies were collected through our Miramar and Vista warehouses - incredible!

We also want to shout out a special THANK YOU to the 85 volunteers who graciously donated 255 hours to help sort through and box all the donations received. Your support was crucial to getting these critically needed supplies up to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and into the hands of those most impacted by the wildfires.

Thank You San Diego – you saw the need and answered the call - we’re so proud of this community and the work we did together to help those facing these unimaginable challenges. We truly are feeding hope together!
