2023 Food Drive Recognition Ceremony

The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and our North County Food Bank chapter hosted our annual Food Drive Recognition Ceremony to celebrate the hard work of our wonderful supporters and their extraordinary food drives.
Together, the community helped raise 2,735,974 pounds of food for our neighbors in need! This was the direct result of more than 2,300 registered community food drives, in addition to the Food Bank's annual campaigns and partnerships.
Every month, the San Diego Food Bank and our North County Food Bank chapter provide food assistance to 400,000 people across the County. For comparison, last year we distributed more than 44 million pounds of food, which is nearly a 40% increase from the pounds distributed in 2019.
Every pound of food is critical as we continue to feed much higher numbers than before the pandemic, and unfortunately, with inflation and food prices on the rise, we do not expect current numbers to drop anytime soon.
