Nancy Eisenberg started her involvement with the San Diego Food Bank when she joined the Food Bank team dedicating her talents and organizational know-how to support the Food Bank’s volunteer department in 2017. Over time, Nancy made the transition from the Food Bank’s Volunteer Center to the Development Department where she worked on special events and fundraisers, including the Food Bank’s annual Chefs, Cork and Craft Gala, the North County Food Bank’s Season of Giving Gala, the Drive Out Hunger Golf Tournament and the San Diego Blues Festival – just to name a few.

In 2019, she accepted her current position as the Food Bank’s first-ever Director of Individual Giving. In this role, she serves as a representative and spokesperson for the Food Bank sharing her passion for the Food Bank’s mission with civic groups, corporations and individuals who are interested in learning more about the work of the Food Bank.

A self-described lifetime nonprofit professional, Nancy has also worked with Jewish Family Service of San Diego, Scripps Mercy Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.  Nancy has served on numerous community boards, including Francis Parker School, where she also served as Parent Association President.

Nancy is a graduate of Occidental College and holds a Master’s Degree from the California School of Professional Psychology.  She is an avid sports fan and her hobbies include frequent workouts at the Bar Method and exploring all that her recent move to downtown San Diego offers. She is the proud mother of two adult children and soon-to-be grandmother of one.
