In this time of great need in our local community, our valued community partner, Fairfield Residential, is matching donations, dollar-for-dollar, to the San Diego Food Bank’s COVID-19 Response Fund up to $25,000 from now until June 30. Islands Fine Burgers & Drinks – San Diego Locations
Buy a Meal, Give a Meal: Islands Fine Burgers & Drinks, San Diego locations, are offering a ‘Buy a Meal, Give a Meal’ promotion. For every full-priced adult entree purchased, Islands will donate one meal to a senior citizen in need. CLICK HERE to place an order online or do curbside pick-up.

Every Monday during the month of May
During Burger’s Bench’s “Make it Happen Mondays”, for every $20 purchased on Mondays in May, Burger Bench will donate five meals to the North County Food Bank.

On Board Gaming in Encinitas is hosting an online raffle for its customers to raise vital funds for our North County Food Bank chapter. Raffle tickets are $2 each and all proceeds will be donated to support North County families in need. For every $2, 10 meals can be provided. Baker Electric Home Energy
In May, Baker Electric Home Energy matched donations to the Food Bank up to $20,000! We are thrilled to announce that we exceeded the match thanks to our generous donors and raised tens of thousands of meals for families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic! We extend a HUGE thank you to our longtime partner, Baker Electric Home Energy, and our amazing supporters for contributing to the Food Bank’s COVID-19 Response Fund through this generous matching gift campaign.
The Miramar-based business is using its production resources and facility to produce an 80% alcohol hand sanitizer in accordance with FDA guidelines. Cutwater Spirits is donating 100% of hand sanitizer produced at its Miramar distillery to non-profits in San Diego County including first responders and longtime charity partner, the San Diego Food Bank. Cutwater Spirits will also be donating funds to the Food Bank that will help the organization produce over 50,000 meals to be distributed to San Diegans affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
Del Rey Avocado Company
Del Rey Avocado Company is helping the Food Bank provide nutrient-rich avocados to individuals and families facing food insecurity during the COVID-19 crisis. They are making weekly deliveries to our warehouse in Vista and will be providing a total of 15,000 pounds of avocados.
Dr. Bronner’s, a world renowned soap and personal care products company based in Vista, generously donated 28 cases of soap and 14 cases of hand sanitizer to support the San Diego Food Bank and our North County Food Bank chapter as we continue day-to-day operations at both warehouse facilities. Foster Farms delivered more than 35,000 servings (nearly 18,000 pounds) to the San Diego Food Bank to provide lean protein to families economically impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. This donation is part of Foster Farms’ nation-wide campaign to deliver a total of 2.4 million servings of poultry to food banks across the country. Thank you Foster Farms for helping us to feed hope here at home for San Diegans in need.
