Courtney Carranza is a seasoned professional with over 27 years of experience in retail grocery operations management, e-commerce, public affairs, and communications. As the Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the Southern California Division of Albertsons Companies, she oversees charitable giving, community programs, and serves as a liaison with government organizations and elected officials. Her role also includes preparing press releases, internal communications, and speeches for company leadership. Under her guidance, the SoCal division has made significant contributions to hunger relief, volunteer opportunities, and employee engagement.
Before her current role, Courtney spent 25 years at Vons/Pavilions,including 16 years as a Store Director. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Cal State Long Beach, a Retail Management Certificate from Cerritos College, and a certificate from USC Marshall School of Business. Courtney chairs the Albertsons SoCal Division Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Council and co-chairs the Women’s Inspiration and Inclusion Network. She is also a board member of the Rancho Santa Margarita Food Pantry.
