Our valued community foundation partner, the Tomlinson Foundation, is matching donations, dollar-for-dollar, to the San Diego Food Bank’s COVID-19 Response Fund up to $220,000.

Double your donation, and help the Food Bank feed tens of thousands of vulnerable families and seniors impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

For every $1 donated, 5 meals can be provided.

The Food Bank is committed to our community, and we will continue to provide food to those in need for the duration of this crisis gripping our community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Tomlinson Foundation and all who have donated to help support the Food Bank’s COVID-19 Response Fund.

The Tomlinson Foundation was founded in 1989 by Thomas “Tink” and Mary Tomlinson who grew  up in dairy farming families in New York.  When the Tomlinsons came to here for their honeymoon, they decided to make San Diego their home.  Their devotion to providing for children and families that which they missed having as children shines through their gifts to organizations that serve families in need.  In the name of her kind, loving and community minded parents, Lynora Brown and the Tomlinson Foundation have generously donated $220,000 as a challenge match to inspire others to join them in supporting children and families so profoundly impacted by the COVID-19 Crisis.
