San Diego Food Bank Community Tour Program
The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank is proud to launch a guided tour program for community members to gain a behind-the-scenes view of our warehouse operations.
Through our new Community Tour Program, we hope to welcome, educate, and engage local San Diegans and visitors alike. Each week, trained and certified tour guides will lead groups around the San Diego Food Bank’s Miramar warehouse and volunteer center, educating visitors on all the Food Bank does to address food and basic needs insecurity in our region.
Interested community members can sign up online for official tours led by specially trained San Diego Food Bank Tour Guides. Tours take place once a week on a different day and time each week. Consult our bookings page for specific dates and times. Please note, all attendees must be 11 years of age or older.
We hope you will take the time to learn more about your local, independent food bank and how, working together, we can assist those striving for a better life for themselves and their families.
For questions about the Community Tour Program or to connect with a San Diego Food Bank staffer about a possible large group or corporate group tour, please email Michael Minjares at mminjares@sandiegofoodbank.org.
