Cathy Lloyd is Senior Vice President of Sales at iHeartMedia, a leading global media and entertainment company specializing in radio, digital, mobile, social, live events and on-demand entertainment. Cathy began her broadcast career in public media as a ‘student assistant’ within the Education & Outreach Department while getting her degree at San Diego State University. For the next seven years, she saw firsthand the ability of radio and television to make an impact in the community. Through partnerships she developed at KPBS, Cathy had the opportunity to join the commercial radio world as an account executive at CBS Radio. She joined the sales management team after 1.5 years, and has steadily increased her responsibilities over the past 13 years—moving from NTR & Digital Sales Manager, to Local Sales Manager, General Sales Manager and now SVP of Sales.
Cathy’s passion for helping the community and experience in cause marketing has enabled her to create integrated media campaigns that have raised millions of dollars for local non-profits. Cathy prides herself on supporting fellow women through networking and mentorship, and serves on boards that help women and children throughout San Diego.
