The Serving & Sharing Foundation Incorporated team serves a remote area, has a great group of volunteers, and is excellent at incorporating best practices. In fact, they have helped the Food Bank by providing their excellent volunteers at other EFAP distributions when needed. We can't thank them enough for being willing to step in and help.They host a mass food distribution on the fourth Saturday of every month serving the Valley Center community in need. They serve an average of more than 74 households and 340 individuals each month! Over a 12 month period, they provided more than 37,000 pounds of food to the community, which is the equivalent of 31,000 meals.
