Aimee Faucett has served the communities of San Diego for 18 years while working in the legislative and executive branches of the City of San Diego and voluntarily serves on several nonprofit boards. Today, Aimee holds the position of Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to joining the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, she was the Deputy Chief of Staff to former Mayor Jerry Sanders and also served as Chief of Staff to former San Diego City Councilmembers Kevin L. Faulconer and Jim Madaffer where she oversaw the day-to-day operations and was responsible for community representation, policy, communications, office management and legislative relations. Her first position with the City of San Diego was a community liaison for former Councilmember Judy McCarty.
Aimee’s community service includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, the American Red Cross San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter and the San Diego State Alumni Association.
Aimee is a graduate of San Diego State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. In 2004, she was selected by San Diego Metropolitan for “Forty Under Forty Honor Role.”
